| This is the legal agreement between you, the purchaser/downloader, and FixIcon.com. By downloading or purchasing any icons set from our website or another website proposing a link towards these icons, you agree to the folowing :
By buying an these icons, you are not authorized to use it to decorate your Web site , an application which you develop, or any other use different of the customization of your micro-computer. This kind of use will have to be the subject of a request to FixIcon.com, and possibly of a purchase of additional right.
All the icons can be used royalty-free by the licensee only for the above quoted use, all of the icons are and remain the property of FixIcon.com.
The icons may not be sublicensed, resold, rented, transferred, or otherwise made available for use in any product wherein the icons will be resold or redistributed.The icons can be modified, neither by additions or withdrawals of elements, nor by modification of color, or any other means (in whole or in part).
FixIcon.com, shall not be liable for any damages (direct or indirect), consequential or arising out of the use of, or the inability to use these graphics files.
This license agreement shall remain applicable throughout the entire duration of use of the icons. It shall be terminated in the event the user does not comply with the terms and conditions of this agreement. |

Why buy icons?
Like other sites, Fixicon enables you to download some small series of icons for free. We also propose to you to download other paying icons, but this isn't obligatory. You are free to benefit from the free services available on Fixicon. The sale of the complete sets enables us to continue to make these icons, because the making of these icons is very long (sometime several hours for an icon !), and each icon is a true illustration.

I have downloaded the icons but when I click it, it says it needs me to choose an application. What do I need to do to install them ?
When you download icons, you obtain a compressed file. You've just need for an application which enables you to decompress file ".ZIP" or ".SIT", like "Stuffit Expander" for example. The icons are graphic documents, you don't need application to use them. Consult the assistance of your computer to know how to change the appearance of your icons.

After my payment, I can't download my icons from your site, due to a server error. What can I do to get my icons ?
Contact us by using (or indicating) the e-mail address that you used for the payment, and indicate to us the icons that you didn't receive. We'll return them asap (according to the time shift)..

I lost my icons because of a crash of my hard disk, how can I obtain them again ?
Contact us by mentioning the set of icons which you lost, the address e-mail whom you used for the payment on Paypal, and (if possible) the approximate date of your purchase. We will return you your set as soon as possible.

How are the icons delivered?
After having chosen your set and makes your payment with Paypal, you'll be automatically redirected towards a page of downloading to obtain your icons immediately.
!!! If you pay with a credit card, do not forget to click on the button "return to the merchant" at the end of the transaction to go to the automatic downloading !!!

How do I use the icons once I have downloaded them?
You can change the look of your icons by changing the properties of each of them by a simple 'copy and paste.' Or more simply, using an application such as CandyBar from Panic (for Mac) or IconPackager from Stardock (for PC), you can change all of the icons on your system in a practical way (trash, dock, folder, ...) !

What formats are the icons in ?
For Macintosh, the icons are delivered as Macintosh Icons.
For Windows, the icons are delivered in ICO or/and PNG filetypes.

What sizes are the icons in (pixels)?
For Macintosh, the icons are in 128x128, 48x48, 32x32, and 16x16 (all in one file).
For Windows, the icons are in 48x48, 32x32, 16x16 (in the ICO filetype) and in 128x128 (in the PNG filetype).
The most recent set are in 256x256, 48x48, 32x32, 16x16 (in the ICO filetype ready for Windows Vista)

Are the icons available for Linux?
The icon for Linux not being sufficiently downloaded, they are not available any more. But many freewares allow to easily convert files ICO into files for Linux...

No, these icons are made only for a private use on your own computer.

Can I purchase several set at the same time?
There's no system of basket, but you can purchase families of icons in a same time on this page. But be carreful, some packs are heavy and need a long time for downloading them !

Can I buy icons for illustrating my sites or my softwares ?
Yes, send to us the list of the icons which you wish to buy (min.10), and we will send a quote to you ASAP.
Then you will be able to make your payment by Paypal, your icons will be sent to you as of reception of the payment (according to the time shift). ("PNG" file 128x128 px).
